As a hybrid, out-of-network practice, Raia Therapy emphasizes clinical autonomy while fostering a strong sense of team connection. Zoe, the practice owner, specializes in the Gottman Method, and we are seeking clinicians who have an interest in this approach and enjoy working with individuals who may have previously engaged in Gottman-based work. We work to empower the clinician.

Position Summary

This role is ideal for a therapist seeking part-time clinical work within a close-knit, supportive practice. The position offers flexibility, independence, and the opportunity to grow within a collaborative professional community.

Qualifications

  • MFT (Limited Permit) in NY or NJ (in good standing)

  • Reside in New Jersey or New York State and legally eligible to work in the U.S

  • Strong clinical judgment and confidence

  • Self-directed and comfortable working independently

  • HIPAA-compliant workspace with a reliable computer and internet for telehealth

  • Proficient with technology and electronic health records

  • Emotionally grounded, professional, and reliable

  • Comfortable with the natural fluctuations of private practice

  • Known for being present, authentic, and client-centered

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality in person or virtual individual and/or couples therapy in alignment with your clinical training and scope of practice

  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with agency and state regulations using SimplePractice 

  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with practice leadership and administrative support as needed

  • Uphold ethical, legal, and professional standards

  • Participate in team events and workshops

  • Attend and actively participate in weekly or biweekly individual and/or group supervision (counts toward licensure)

  • Complete all required administrative tasks in a timely and organized manner

  • Respond to new client inquiries promptly by scheduling and conducting consultation calls and intakes within 24–48 hours of initial contact

Compensation & Benefits

  • Employee (W2) position

  • Session-based compensation

  • Staggered payout based on completed sessions and notes

  • Biweekly payment schedule
